Check it's not an emergency.
Call 111 or 999 for urgent medical help if you have any of these as your request will not be seen immediately.
- Crushing chest pain and tightness
- New drooping on one side of the face, slurred speech, difficulty raising your arms, weakness, or numbness on one side of your body.
- Severe difficulty breathing
- Heavy bleeding that won't stop
- Severe injuries
- Feeling suicidal, wanting to harm yourself, or others.
Appointments
Appointments can be made by either calling into the surgery between 8-6.30 am or telephoning between 8- 6.30 am.
- Appointments are available Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 6.30 pm.
Call the Surgery on 01792 481444
We will ask you questions about why you need an appointment and will sometimes direct you to an alternative healthcare practitioner – this may be a pharmacist, dentist, optician, or other local service.
Same Day - Emergency Appointments
These can be booked from 8 am and should be booked if you need to see a GP that day. Although there is a choice of doctors, we cannot always guarantee the doctor requested.
- Children 16 years and younger will be seen on the same day.
Non-urgent pre-bookable appointments
You may book with a clinician of choice up to 4 weeks in advance. However, note that clinicians are sometimes away, which will impact the number of appointments available.
- Please email us to book a non-urgent routine appointment at sa1.medicalcentre@wales.nhs.uk
HOME VISITS
A Home Visit is provided when a patient is housebound and unable to attend the surgery, or a resident in a care/nursing house is too unwell to attend the surgery.
OUT OF HOURS
- Should you need access to a doctor outside of surgery hours, please call NHS 111
